State Assembly passes tax bill for Aerospace companies

The State Assembly has passed a bill for aerospace tax credits.

Democrat Steve Fox says his bill, which could provide firms with $25 million per year in tax breaks, is aimed at attracting and retaining thousands of high paying jobs.

It's timed to pass the Senate before bids are due to the Defense Department next month, but Republicans say the process has been moving far too fast. It was pushed through chamber over 24 hours.
