Lite Manufacturing & Bonding
Nameplates & Labels
All nameplate and label materials are certified and conform to customer requirements. We manufacture nameplates through the utilization of screen printing, chemical and electro-chemical etching, sub-surface anodizing, and machine engraving. We also fabricate nameplates in accordance with military specifications: GG-P-455, Mil-P-19834, Mil-P-15024.
Die-Cutting / Gasketing
MGI utilizes laser-generated steel rule dies to hold the tightest tolerances with RFI/EMI suppressants, aluminum, rubber, mylar, foil, epoxy glass, Kapton film, and other high temperature insulators.
RFI / EMI Shielding
We are experts with neoprene, silicone rubber, aluminum honey-comb, oriented wire, expanded monel, and mu metal.
Bonding
We use Mil-Spec adhesives and primers that are certified and traceable to the source of manufacture.

 4-Axis Horizontal Machining 
Low to High-Quantity & High Tolerance Precision Machining
We utilize Toyoda and Hitachi Seiki 4-axis mills on 66 and 33 pallet systems, respectively. Utilizing customer provided 3-D CAD files (Pro/E, Solidworks, STEP, IGES, DXF, and PLT) or producing our own from the 2-D print, we use GIBBS CAM to make quality parts. Our production quantity ranges from 20 to 15,000 units per month. We gladly manufacture simple to complex components and are accustomed to the rigorous quality and scheduling standards of our outstanding customers. Our mills easily hold tolerances of +/-.001." Our quality rating is 99.9% and our delivery rating is 96%.

5-Axis Capable Vertical Mills In addition to our high and low production horizontal mills, we also have 6 Fadal vertical mills that also easily hold tolerances of .001" and are capable of machining the 5th axis of your components. Although our Fadal machines are not tied in to a high quantity pallet system, we still rely on them regularly and always achieve the highest precision and quality standards.
EDM - Wire & Sinker 
To augment our solid CNC Mill machining foundation, we added Electrical Discharge Machining to our repertoire. We use our EDM capability to support in-house operations and as a direct service to our customers. Although EDM is storied for holding tight tolerances, we have also found it to be a material cost saver because of the high yield ratio.
 Sheet Metal Stand-alone sheet metal components or machining/sheet metal combined assemblies, no problem
We have high-tonage breaks, pneumatic punch presses and large capacity shears. Our 80-ton breaks are capable of forming metal up to .375" thick; our pneumatic punch press can punch metal up to .187" thick and 40" wide x 70" long. Our outstanding craftsmen are capable of manufacturing components that normally require very specific machines, at a much cheaper price. Lathe/Turn Work 
Our manufacturing expertise extends to lathe and turn work, as well. We have multi-axis turning capability with mill-turn machines: diameters ranging from .015" to 22" and length up to 40 inches. |
